Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to join our growing Engineering team. This hands-on role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting design, prototyping, and testing activities while working closely with experienced engineers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain an offsite 3D Print Farm to support rapid prototyping needs (local driving required)
- Assist engineers with CAD modeling, part design, and product testing
- Create clear, accurate fabrication and assembly drawings for new and existing products
- Build and prototype new accessories and components for consumer product systems
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) throughout the product lifecycle
- Support hands-on fabrication, including the setup and operation of CNC routers under supervision
- Help validate product designs through mechanical testing and user-focused feedback
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, or related field preferred
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using standard shop tools (e.g., drills, saws, hand tools)
- Familiarity with CAD tools like SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD is a plus
- Experience working with 3D printing and prototyping methods is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
