Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality craftsmanship and a strong understanding of various flooring materials and installation techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for transforming spaces by installing, restoring, and maintaining different types of flooring. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful and functional environments for our clients.

Duties

• Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
• Perform remodeling tasks as needed to prepare spaces for new flooring.
• Execute trim carpentry work to ensure a polished finish around installed flooring.
• Restore existing floors by sanding, refinishing, or repairing as necessary.
• Apply caulking to ensure proper sealing and finishing of flooring edges.
• Lay tiles with precision and attention to detail for optimal aesthetics and durability.
• Install fixtures related to flooring projects, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
• Read and interpret schematics to follow project specifications accurately.
• Assist in construction estimating to provide accurate material needs for projects.
• Maintain floor care standards during and after installation to ensure longevity.

Skills

• Proficient in remodeling techniques with a focus on flooring applications.
• Strong knowledge of trim carpentry practices.
• Experience in restoring various types of flooring materials.
• Skilled in caulking techniques for seamless finishes.
• Competent in tile laying with an eye for design and detail.
• Familiarity with fixture installation related to flooring projects.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in a construction environment.
• Capable of reading schematics and blueprints accurately.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
