Equipment / Field Technician
STAT Rentals is a provider of oilfield equipment rentals. We strive to provide the highest quality product, along with exceptional service. STAT Rentals is committed to quality, service and trust. Currently we are looking for a Equipment / Field Technician for our Red Deer facility.
The Equipment / Field Technician is a field and shop based position with its primary responsibility being assist with field equipment maintenance, servicing and transport, along with shop maintenance. The duties more specifically include the following:
- Assist with maintenance of company field equipment including office trailer, combo washroom, man lifts, light towers and garbage units
- Use of power tools
- Clean, pressure wash, oil changes, tire repair of all company equipment
- Load and unload trailers with necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, shop and yard
- Ability to operate skid steer, man lifts, and other equipment, as required
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer
- Ability to work alone
Skills and competencies required are:
- Aptitude to apply common-sense understanding to carry out directions from supervisor
- Capability to use power tools
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Drivers abstract
- Capable of frequently lifting and moving materials up to 65lbs
- Exemplary team player
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Show a commitment to workplace health and safety
- Safety Tickets; H2S, First Aid
