Equipment & Service Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated Equipment & Service Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will sell new and used recycling equipment, replacement parts, consumables, and maintenance/service solutions for industrial machinery such as balers, compactors, conveyors, shredders, and sorting systems.

Your goal is to build strong customer relationships and provide timely solutions that keep equipment running efficiently and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calls, leads, referrals, and site visits
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and recommending proper parts or service solutions
  • Coordinate service scheduling, warranty work, and preventive maintenance
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales—preferably in industrial equipment, machinery, or recycling/waste management
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn recycling system components
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with strong prospecting and closing ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with balers, conveyors, shredders, or compactors
  • Experience with parts or service sales in an equipment dealer or manufacturer environment
  • Basic knowledge of project management processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,217.77 - $55,000.00 per year
