Job Summary

The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are competitively priced, profitable, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and project specifications
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for bids, budgets, and proposals
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Compare pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Prepare bid packages and assist in proposal preparation
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and field teams to validate assumptions
• Maintain and update estimating databases, cost histories, and pricing benchmarks
• Identify project risks and clarify scope gaps prior to bid submission
• Participate in bid review meetings and handoff meetings upon project award
• Support change order pricing and value engineering efforts as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in construction estimating (commercial, residential, or multifamily preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Vu360, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, Sage, or similar)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multifamily, renovation, or interior fit-out projects
• Familiarity with local building codes and market pricing in the US
• Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
