About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Events Executive to join our Events & Sales team.

About you:
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel sales or event coordination.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Opera Cloud, ResDiary).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Sales-focused mindset.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for events, meetings, and group bookings.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored proposals.
  • Respond to event inquiries promptly and convert them into confirmed bookings.
  • Maintain up-to-date client records using the hotel’s CRM system.
  • Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow ups.
  • Prepare function sheets, contracts, and detailed event plans.
  • Issue Invoices and record payments.
  • Conduct property tours and site inspections for potential clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients and local organizations.
  • Follow up post-event for feedback and future business opportunities.
  • Be present during key events to ensure client satisfaction and smooth delivery.
