We are a talks platform connecting Ireland's top thinkers with audiences around the country. Our talks are centred around our ethos of making public education as accessible as possible and touch on mental health and wellbeing in Ireland, self improvement and self discovery.
Seed Talks events range from science, psychology, history, current affairs, philosophy, neurodiversity, neuroscience and more in 2025 and beyond.We also program a growing range of online workshops & courses.

You will be the face of Seed Talks at our Dublin based events, comfortable with managing large scale events and speaking on stage in front of a large audience. A keen interest and/or appreciation of subjects and themes is essential.
A knowledge of venues in the local and surrounding areas is also a plus.
Duties
- Execute in-person talks from start to finish, ensuring all details and tech are handled smoothly and efficiently.
- Host the talk, by delivering our introduction slides and welcoming the speaker to the stage; as well as deliver the Q&A with the audience at the end of the talk.
- Coordinate with the venue staff to ensure the necessary services and equipment for events is delivered to a high standard.
- Oversee event setup, including arranging seating, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary PR items.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events.
- Maintain a professional and approachable manner throughout the event.
Experience
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with speakers and venue staff.
- Excellent organisational skills and time management.
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional guest services during events.
You will report to our Event Co-Ordinator who works remotely and all necessary training will be handled via Zoom.
