Meditec Medical is an Irish-owned medical supply and distribution company serving healthcare providers across Ireland and Europe. We work closely with hospitals, clinics, and procurement teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions to the healthcare sector. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a sharp, commercially minded individual to work at the heart of our operations alongside the Managing Director.

This is a rare opportunity to gain direct, hands-on experience across every function of a growing Irish business from strategy and business planning to marketing, supplier sourcing, and emerging technology. Working directly alongside the Managing Director, you will be involved in real decisions, real projects, and real commercial challenges from day one.

Think of it as a fast-track into senior business management, without the years of waiting.

• Support the MD in developing, documenting, and presenting business plans, proposals, and strategic initiatives
• Managing complex calendars, booking travel, managing expenses and handling confidential information
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and product or supplier sourcing across Irish and European markets
• Coordinate and contribute to marketing activity, including content creation, digital campaigns, website updates, and social media presence
• Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools to improve business efficiency, communications, and output quality
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents for internal meetings, board-level discussions, and external stakeholders
• Manage projects on behalf of the MD, tracking timelines, following up on actions, and reporting on progress
• Handle professional correspondence and communications with suppliers, customers, and partners as required
• Support the logistical needs for webinars, trade shows and company events
• Support business development activity, including identifying new opportunities and assisting with tender or proposal preparation

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline from an Irish or European third-level institution
• 2–3 years of post-graduate experience in a commercial, marketing, operations, or business support environment
• A genuine interest in how businesses are run, you're the type of person who reads business news for fun
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology; hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI, or similar is a distinct advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Irish or another European language is welcome
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without being micromanaged
• Discretion and sound judgement, you will be trusted with commercially sensitive information
• A proactive, solutions-first mindset, someone who identifies problems and takes initiative to resolve them
• Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
