Experienced Curtain/Fabric Sales Assistant Required.

Stillorgan Décor Centre is a well-established family owned business celebrating over forty years of trading.
The Fabric Department is currently recruiting for a full-time experienced fabric sales assistant to join our expert team upstairs in our busy curtain and wallpaper department

This position is a permanent full-time role which will involve working five days.
Shop Hours are from 09.30 – 17.00 Monday to Saturday

The successful candidates should have a keen eye for colour, possess a natural flair and understanding of how patterns and textures work together. They must be passionate about all aspects of interior design with a strong knowledge of all thing’s décor, fabric, curtain, blinds, wallpaper etc.

We offer a bespoke service so you will need to have knowledge of putting schemes together and an ability to assist customers with their choices from paints to wallpaper from fabrics to lighting to soft furnishings.

We are looking for an experienced, well presented, enthusiastic person with a happy positive attitude. You will need to be self-motivated with an eagerness to address our customer needs. You will need strong communication skills. Here at Stillorgan Décor we pride ourselves on our good customer service and excellent communication skills will be an essential part of the role.

Daily tasks to include dealing directly with customers and fabric suppliers. You will need strong organisational skills with an ability to juggle all our customers’ requirements, whilst also working on a busy shop floor. You will need experience working with computers for estimates invoicing etc. an ability to calculate quantities with a strong understanding of measurements both metric and inches. You will need to be able to work within our happy team but also have the ability to work off your own initiative.
