Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic construction and electrical services team. In this role, you will assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians in installing, wiring, and testing electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and install conduit, wiring, and fixtures with precision
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting
• Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively
• Support the setup of low voltage systems including alarms, communication lines, and control panels
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring all safety standards are met during installation processes

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrical apprentice or in a similar electrical role within industrial or commercial settings
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage applications
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and use of testing instruments like ohmmeters
• Construction site experience with a focus on safety practices and OSHA regulations
• Familiarity with NEC standards for electrical installations and wiring practices
• Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately
• Experience working with frame carpentry or related construction disciplines is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex electrical environments

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
