Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Pipe Layer with proven skills in installing sanitary, storm, and watermain systems. This is a physically demanding role that involves working in trenches to accurately install, align, and connect pipes to precise line and grade specifications.

Responsibilities

Level and compact bedding material before placing pipe.
Lay, align, and join sanitary, storm, and watermain pipes to municipal standards.
Install fittings, valves, hydrants, manholes, and catch basins.
Prepare and complete tie-ins to existing systems.
Use lasers, levels, and grade rods to ensure accuracy.
Keep trenches clear of debris and ready for inspection and testing.
Work collaboratively with operators, labourers, and foremen to complete daily tasks.
Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in pipe laying for sewer and watermain installation.
Knowledge of municipal installation standards and laser grade systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Physically fit for trench work and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Safety training in confined spaces is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
