Export Specialist

The Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Export Specialist to join us on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible to plan and process the loading, booking and shipping schedule requirements for sea freight, air freight, road freight and courier transport. You will be responsible for pick release, planning and issuing the daily loading plans and shipping schedule.

As the Export Specialist you will have a strong background in export ideally across international ocean and domestic freight as well as experience in SAP. Dairy experience is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete booking requirements for sea freight, air freight, road freight, couriers within timeframes and in a manner to minimize cost to the customer and company.
• Provide support across the wider Supply Chain team in a variety of functions from demand planning, reporting continuous improvement and data maintenance.
• Plan and maintain the Loading Plans for all outward customer order movements within capacities.
• Process and communicate the daily shipping schedule.

Skills and Experience

• You will ideally have previous experience in an export role or similar.
• Previous experience in the dairy industry is desirable.
• Previous experience using SAP systems is preferred.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential for coordinating with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to help resolve any shipping or compliance issues that may arise.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
