Description:
Orikan is seeking expressions of interest for potential short‑term opportunities supporting Yarra Ranges Council with parking patrols and enforcement.

The Opportunity:
A 3–6 month assignment supporting the paid parking pilot across key areas. The team will include:

1 x Supervisor
1 x Senior Officer
2 x Parking Officers

Locations:
Work will be based across key activity centres, including:
Warburton
Healesville
Lilydale
Belgrave
Chirnside Park

Working Arrangements:
Senior Officer and Parking Officers will work a rotating 7‑day roster, including Public Holidays
Majority of shifts will be between 9am–5pm
Flexibility is available for pre‑approved leave or personal commitments, with rosters built around availability where possible

Skills and Experiences:

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Clear written communication for documenting enforcement

Basic computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills

Current driver’s licence (preferred - dependent on client requirements and location)

Experience in customer service or enforcement (preferred but not essential)

A willingness to learn the ins and outs of road safety and parking regulations

Hours:
Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster

Weekend, public holiday and shift allowances where applicable

Eligibility & Pre-Employment Checks:
Australian Citizen, PR or full working rights required
National Police Check, Working with Children Check and Pre-Employment Medical for progressed applicants.
