Fabricator / Sign Production Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Sign Production Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on sign manufacturing and light fabrication, working with modern equipment to produce high-quality signage and visual products.

Experience in signage is preferred, but we are open to individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Position Overview

As a key member of the production team, you will support daily sign manufacturing operations, assist with fabrication, and ensure all work meets our quality standards. You will work closely with design, operations, and installation teams to deliver projects efficiently and accurately.

This is a hands-on role in a light manufacturing environment, focused on precision, craftsmanship, and consistency—not heavy industrial work.

Key Responsibilities Sign Fabrication & Production

• Fabricate and assemble a variety of signage including:
• Channel letters
• Flat cut lettering
• Panel signs and frames
• Vinyl applications and mounted graphics
• Operate and assist with programming:
• CNC routers
• Laser cutters
• Vinyl plotters
• Assist in light metal and material fabrication (aluminum, plastics, composites)
• Perform basic wiring and assembly for illuminated signage (training provided if needed)

Production Support

• Read and interpret drawings and work orders to ensure accurate builds
• Maintain tooling inventory (blades, bits, consumables) and notify when replenishment is required
• Assist with material preparation, layout, and finishing
• Coordinate with team members to meet production deadlines
• Communicate any issues or delays proactively

Quality Control

• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency
• Verify measurements, materials, and finishes against work orders
• Identify and resolve minor production issues before completion

Shop & Equipment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Experience in signage, fabrication, or a related trade is an asset
• Familiarity with CNC routers, lasers, or similar equipment is an asset (training available)
• Basic welding knowledge is an asset (light fabrication only)
• Ability to read drawings and follow instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Work Conditions

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Occasional work on ladders or lifts (as required for sign assembly)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Beamsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
