Facilities Handyman Kansas City, Ks

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Facility Handyman to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in janitorial work, basic repairs, and general maintenance. We’re seeking someone dependable and proactive — a team player who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term role where they can grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine janitorial duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, etc.)
• Handle minor repairs: patch walls, fix doors, change light bulbs, basic plumbing, etc.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and inspections
• Keep the facility organized and safe at all times
• Monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Report any larger maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Assist with setup and cleanup for company events or internal needs
• Maintain outdoor areas (sidewalks, parking lot, simple landscaping tasks)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work
• Basic knowledge of repair tools and maintenance procedures
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 lbs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work independently and take initiative
• Flexibility and adaptability
