Job Summary
With customers around the world, CenCan processes and ships Canadian-grown mustard and other commodities to many of the most popular brand names in the market.

The Facilities Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. This position involves a variety of tasks related to facility operation, including loading and unloading trucks, operating grain cleaners, housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with safety and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and succeed. The potential to develop into an Assistant Manager exists for the right candidate.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the facility and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks. Load rail cars and shipping containers with product.
• Perform regular facility housekeeping activities (sweeping, shoveling, etc.).
• Operate grain cleaners to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform light equipment maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and processing.

Requirements

• The ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Familiarity with agricultural products and production facilities an asset but not required.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

There will be potential for overtime shifts to generate extra pay. Reliable daily travel to and from Delisle, SK is a requirement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
