Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, emphasizing preventive health measures and the management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for proper documentation and billing processes.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses.
- Stay current with best practices in family medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Proficiency in managing medical records systems and electronic health record (EHR) software.
- Strong understanding of ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in clinical settings.
- Expertise in conducting physical examinations effectively.
- Skills in performing esthetic laser treatments as part of patient care offerings.
