Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive care and health education. This role requires a strong understanding of acute care, pediatrics, and home care practices, as well as the ability to effectively utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic. The Family Medicine Physician will play a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes through effective pain management and thorough data collection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide acute care services for patients experiencing urgent health issues.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Epic and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving family medicine practices.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency in Family Medicine.
- Board certification in Family Medicine is preferred. CPSO Registration
- Strong knowledge of acute care practices, pediatrics, medication administration, and pain management.
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health record systems (experience with Epic is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills for effective data collection and interpretation.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on medical advancements.

Pay: From $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
