Valuing Our Children seeks to hire a Family Support Worker for the Family Resource Center program. The Family Support worker is responsible for providing case management, group facilitation, and information to referred families in the North Quabbin area. The Family Support Worker will work closely with the family, using a strength based philosophy as a foundation for their work. Transportation required. This is a full-time position. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree or work equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of the DCF system is required. Knowledge of area providers and proven skills in collaborative problem solving; demonstrated skills in strength-based family support; excellent group facilitation skills; and computer literacy. Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
