Feed Mill Operator

Overview: A feed mill operator is responsible for accurately retrieving ingredients to be unloaded into mixing equipment to make animal feeds ranging from sheep to dairy cows to horses and many more animals.

Responsibilities

• Promote the success of farms and families in Lancaster and surrounding counties
• Retrieve ingredients in a timely manner and accurately based on order sheet
• Maintain clean work area and work equipment to ensure product quality
• Communicate clearly and interact well with co-workers and foreman to keep products stocked and have orders ready to be loaded for delivery
• Be a team player, helping others with loading trucks and customers
• Relate and interact positively with customers who come to pick up products

• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Hours and Benefits:

• 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. Monday thru Friday. 7 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday (only half staff on Saturday, so only work every other week).

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
