We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Field Service Technician to join our propane operations team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of residential and commercial propane systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-oriented, and committed to working safely in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain propane tanks, regulators, piping, and related equipment
- Perform system inspections, leak checks, and safety tests
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues in the field
- Ensure compliance with state and federal safety standards, including DOT and NFPA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service while educating customers on safe propane usage
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Participate in on-call or emergency response rotations as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior field service, HVAC, mechanical, or related experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
- CETP certification or willingness to obtain
Training will be provided as needed.
