Field Technician – Varo Industries

Varo Industries is a leading energy services provider specializing in measurement solutions, instrumentation, and LGR/GOR well testing. Based in Grande Prairie, we proudly support clients across the region, including Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Grande Cache, Hinton, Edson, and Fox Creek.

We’re expanding and looking for motivated Field Technicians to join our team. If you enjoy hands-on field work, problem‑solving, and working outdoors in dynamic environments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform well testing operations to evaluate oil and gas well performance
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate well‑testing equipment
• Transport, rig in, and rig out mobile testing trailers
• Collect product samples and acquire accurate data from test trailers and client equipment
• Prepare and submit precise, timely production test reports
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards

Qualifications

• Valid safety certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid)
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license with driver’s abstract
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Previous well testing or oil and gas field experience is an asset
• Experience hauling trailers is an asset
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and field work
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in changing field conditions
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel overnight as required

Pay: $25.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
