Diamed, a lab supplies company located in Mississauga, is looking for an energetic, experience and professional person to oversee the operation of Accounts Department. This position is responsible to supervise the accounting staff and deal with all aspect of accounting processes, while also handling administrative duties like payroll, human resources and office management. The position reports to the CEO/Controller of the Company.
1. Maintain Financial Records of Company using "GreeneStep" ERP system.
2. Prepare Financial Statements on a monthly basis, with detailed schedules of all Accruals and Prepayments, with prior year comparison. These schedules may be produced on a standard spreadsheet.
3. Generate monthly Management Sales reports showing detailed sales by
- Territory and Customer
- Customer and Item
4. Verify completion of Journal Entry posting prepared by accounting staff
6. Produce Cash Position Statement on a weekly basis.
7. Prepare Annual Financial Forecast (Income statements and balance sheet) based on Sales Forecast submitted by Sales Director.
8. Prepare Annual Financial Accounts in draft for detailed examination by company auditors, in a timely manner as soon as practical after the end of the financial year and present approved final accounts to the company bankers with application for continuing credit facilities.
9. Maintain record-keeping in accordance with accepted Accounting Standards.
10. Provide analysis data on key initiatives to help management in the decision making process.
11. Manage and resolve all other kinds of Accounting Issues.
1. Administrate the GreeneStep ERP System
2. Manage all other IT issues ensuring the smooth running of the company’s computers
1. Payroll preparation and management
2. Vacation/sick day management
1. Overseeing office operations including various contracts renewal
2. Maintaining office supplies, coordinating facilities management request etc.
Qualification
1. University Graduated major in Accounting (preferable)
2. At 5 years experience in relevant fields.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
