Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of financial concepts, enabling them to provide insightful analysis and support strategic decision-making. This role involves working with various financial data, conducting cash flow analysis, and preparing comprehensive financial reports to guide the organization’s financial planning and budgeting processes.

Duties

• Conduct thorough financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling to support business objectives.
• Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize current financial status and project future trends.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VBA to analyze data efficiently.
• Leverage business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for corporate accounting and investment banking projects.
• Perform cost accounting analyses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Engage in quantitative research and analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Maintain proficiency in ERP systems and Hyperion for effective data management.
• Monitor profit & loss statements, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with governmental accounting standards.
• Utilize SQL for data collection and manipulation to enhance reporting capabilities.

Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in finance or accounting, with experience in the following areas considered advantageous:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal for market analysis.
• Experience with financial software that supports analytics and business analysis.
• Knowledge of corporate finance principles, including cash flow analysis and strategic planning.
• Understanding of quantitative analysis techniques relevant to financial decision-making. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the finance sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
