About the Role

As a Accountant with our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. You will collaborate with various departments to provide insights and guidance on financial matters, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Audit Management: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits to ensure thorough and timely completion.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and assistance in filing of tax returns.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards, staying updated on changes and implications.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in public private finance, utilities, and cooperatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • CPA certification desirable, but not necessary.
