We are looking for Fleet manager for our company.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
The sucessful candiate is required
- rganising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel
- liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaints
- receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules
- ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality
- arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods
- maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports
- coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Ensure the stock is loaded safely onto the vehicles
- Bring new ideas to business to have growth in the business,
- Set operations policies and standards, including determination of safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies of New Zealand · Arrange for collections and despatch of goods and vehicles
- Use of computer application to prepare reports and run sheets · Apply strategic marketing in the business to enhance business profitability.
- Conduct employee training sessions on subjects such as hazardous material handling, employee orientation, quality improvement and computer use.
- Provide administrative and technical assistance check for Road User Charges, current Certificate of Fitness on vehicles etc.
- May involved in hiring and training for new staff members
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analysing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Formulating and implementing purchasing new vehicles and marketing policies · Coordinate the recruitment , training, supervision and performance appraisals in conduction with the Director
- To ensure the business is compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety regulations · Adhere to the Government policies and legislations and procedures in regard to smooth running of the operation.
- JOb Type: Permanent & Ongoing
Pay rate: $30.00- 32.00
Hours: 30-40
Weekend availabilty: Must be able to wotk on weekend, if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
