Be part of a purpose-led organisation with care at its core. You’ll make a difference by acting in the best interests of our communities and city. Be better together with collaborative and inclusive partnerships. Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.
About the role
The City of Sydney is seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Projects Coordinator to support and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects within the Fleet Assets Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in high profile initiatives, including the transition to a zero emissions fleet and the uplift of fleet assets across the organisation, while contributing as a valued team member driving positive change.
In this role, you will provide leadership and coordination to ensure best practice asset management, heavy vehicle compliance, and support the successful delivery of strategic fleet projects.
We’re looking for someone with:
- tertiary qualifications in disciplines related to fleet asset management/maintenance and/or demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years)
- ability to work as part of a team and foster team culture, knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant legislation and the City’s Policies and Procedures
- a current NSW Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence or ability to obtain.
If you are looking to advance your fleet career and contribute to shaping a safer and more environmentally sustainable future for the City’s fleet, we encourage you to apply.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration, medical assessment and criminal history check.
Applications must be submitted online by 11:59pm, Wednesday 11 March 2026.
For more information, contact Andrew Pelayias, Fleet Strategy and Assets Manager on 02 9265 9684.
