Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our Semi-Tractors and Trailers and miscellaneous equipment as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of Cummins Insight Diagnostics and tractor mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

We are offering a great SIGN ON BONUS.

Pay will be based on experience.

BRAND NEW SHOP BUILDING.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and trailers.
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair air brake systems, hydraulic systems, and other essential components.
• Weld parts and components as required for repairs or modifications is a bonus.
• Dig into mechanical problems to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Effectively communicating with co-workers regarding repairs and services needed.

Skills

• Knowledge of air brake systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose mechanical issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions.
• Ability to transmit technical information clearly to team members and clients.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
