About the Job:
Mayday Towing is looking for a full-time Fleet Technician to maintain and repair our entire fleet of diesel tow trucks, equipment, and trailers. You'll handle everything from regular maintenance to repairs on both trucks and support equipment to keep our fleet safe, reliable, and fully operational.

Job Duties:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of diesel tow trucks (light and heavy duty) and on support equipment: trailers, dollies, forklifts, loaders, backhoes, etc.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Be familiarized with tow truck hydraulics, winches, decks, and PTO systems.
• Use our fleet management software to document and record all work completed, service intervals, and repairs.
• Manage service records and stay ahead of maintenance requirements to avoid downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
• Communicate clearly with management on repair needs and fleet status.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of diesel truck and towing equipment repairs and diagnostics.
• Familiar with preventative maintenance and fleet service schedules.
• Ability to use fleet management software (training provided).
• Must have your own tools and toolbox.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Must take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required by the job.
