We are currently seeking Floor staff to join the team at The Vintage Cocktail Club. This role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring a positive dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering great service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, escorting them to their tables.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Upsell and recommend menu items to guests based on their preferences.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, special requests, or concerns, and ensure any issues are resolved swiftly.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience and leave with a desire to return.
• Serve food and beverages to guests according to restaurant standards, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
• Assist guests with the selection of food and drinks, providing recommendations based on dietary requirements or preferences.
• Ensure that orders are accurately placed and delivered to the correct table.
• Ensure that the venue’s standards of service are met consistently, particularly with regard to timing and presentation.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
• Set up tables with the necessary tableware, glassware, and condiments according to venues standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and specials, and communicate this information effectively to guests.
• Assist with cleaning and resetting tables between guests, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
