Blooms Hotel Temple Bar, a 3* hotel, is currently recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant.

Reporting to the Head of Food & Beverage you will help out with all customer service requirements in the Food & Beverage department of the hotel including floor, bar and breakfast service as required and depending on seasonal variability.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure that all food and drinks are served correctly, professionally and promptly in accordance with restaurant and bar standards.
• Upselling and anticipating guests needs in a friendly and engaging manner in order to enhance service quality and increase customer satisfaction.
• Customer is Number One attitude - Prioritizing customers at all times.
• Deal with any customer queries that may arise in a professional and efficient manner.

• Must have relevant experience in a similar working environment
• Must be passionate about food & drinks
• Must have a hands on approach
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service oriented manner
• Must be aware of and adhere to prevailing legislation in relation to the service of food and drink
• Must be able to work as part of a team in a busy Bar/Restaurant environment
• Must be flexible in relation to business needs
• Must have a good command of the English language
• Must have excellent self-presentation
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be available to work early and late shifts

Bar experience is preferable for this role.

Pay: From €14.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Temple Bar, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• bar : 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)
