Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, serving food, preparing beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have 3 years experience in the food industry, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, food safety, and customer service within a dynamic team setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a professional manner
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality presentation
- Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and restrooms
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned, including cleaning
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Barista experience and hospitality background is a plus
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Smart Serve (required)
