Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Cork Golf Club.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with proven experience in training and supervising staff. This role requires working flexible hours and weekends, especially during the main golf season.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards.

Take a proactive role in maintaining and improving member satisfaction, engaging with members, seeking feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance the food and beverage experience.

Train, supervise, and mentor staff to enhance their performance and ensure they deliver top-notch service to our members and guests.

Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.

Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to ensure efficient operation.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining and service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Assist in planning and delivering special events, contributing to enhancing the overall guest experience.

Resolve any customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly.

Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage sector,

Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, predominantly during the main golf season.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
