Food & Beverage Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our Bar & Restaurant team at The Maritime Hotel in Bantry. In this role, you will be the face of our service, providing a warm welcome to guests and delivering an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist with table setup and clearing throughout service
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, including cocktails
• Ensure a consistent and high standard of service at all times
• Share knowledge of the local area and provide personal recommendations to guests
• Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Maintain a clean, well-organized and fully stocked restaurant and bar area

What We’re Looking For

• An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
• A strong team player who takes pride in delivering great guest experiences
• Prior experience in food and beverage service is a plus
