Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager for a potential new sale in the Greater Phoenix Arizona area. The Food Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervision for the on-site food service in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Joining us at one of our school sites means fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing the students’ well-being and performance.

What You'll Do:

Maintains and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations
Establishes and maintains a safe work environment
Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards
Utilizes Sodexo resources and programs to ensure operating standards and regulatory' requirements are met and employees have the necessary equipment and inventory'
Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate in order drive a high-level of employee engagement

Ability to successfully oversee menu planning, meal pattern compliance, recipes, and HACCP standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
