Campbelltown Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Food Services Assistants to join our hospitality team on a part time basis. In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 52 Surgical beds, 16 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly

• Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays

• Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.

• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.

• Provide high standard of customer service

• Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures

• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients

• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

• Authority to Work in Australia
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Experience in aged care or hospital environment (desirable)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Excellent time management skills
• Commitment to service excellence.
• Strong communication and customer skills
• Attention to detail
• Work well independently and within a team
• Flexible to work in 7-day roster

Desirable:

• Cooking experience in aged care or hospital environment
