DSM Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to lead field crews across a variety of civil construction projects, including commercial, industrial, and government sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about building infrastructure with precision, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews on civil construction projects.
• Ensure job site safety, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
• Interpret construction plans, specs, and schedules to guide site operations.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment inventory on site.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain timelines and resolve challenges.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members.
• Accurately document daily reports and job progress.
• Communicate with subcontractors and inspectors as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Foreman in civil or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of site work, excavation, concrete, utilities, and grading.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.
• Skilled in interpreting construction documents and schedules.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and results-driven.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as tablets or smartphones for job tracking.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with government or federally funded construction projects.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Familiarity with prevailing wage job requirements.
• Equipment operation skills are a plus.
