We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Forklift Operator to support our greenhouse operations in Lancaster.

Description:
About the Role
This hands-on role is responsible for supporting the daily logistics and operational setup of our greenhouse to ensure efficient crop production and product flow. You will play a key role in safely moving harvested product, materials, equipment, and waste, while helping maintain a safe, organised, and productive environment.

The role also supports greenhouse operations through crop assistance, equipment readiness, greenhouse clean-outs, and general operational support during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

Safe operation of forklifts within greenhouse and yard environments
Transport harvested produce to pack shed facilities
Move growing media, packaging, equipment, and operational supplies
Conduct forklift pre-start checks and maintain safe work practices
Support greenhouse setup and daily operational readiness
Assist with crop removal, greenhouse clean-outs, and general production support
Maintain housekeeping, hygiene, and biosecurity standards
Assist maintenance and operational teams as required during peak periods

About You

You will be a dependable and safety-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Skills & Experience

Current LF Forklift Licence (required)
Experience operating forklifts in agricultural, warehouse, or production environments
Strong awareness of workplace safety and hazard identification
Ability to work in warm and high-humidity greenhouse conditions
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist across operational tasks
