About the Role:
GMA International School seeks a dynamic and experienced Founder Principal to lead the establishment of a premier CBSE-affiliated school in Dehradun. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep knowledge of CBSE norms, ensuring compliance, excellence in education, and a nurturing environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the school’s vision, mission, values, and strategic plan
• Establish governance structures, policies, and procedures aligned with CBSE standards
• Oversee infrastructure development, including classrooms, labs, libraries, and safety systems
• Design and execute CBSE-aligned curricula, assessments, and evaluation systems
• Lead the CBSE affiliation process, including documentation, audits, and compliance
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
• Foster an inclusive, ethical, and student-centric school culture
• Manage admissions, student welfare, discipline, and parent engagement
• Oversee operational functions such as HR, finance, facilities, and safety
• Implement data-driven decision-making with clear KPIs and reporting
• Lead startup activities, change management, and milestone achievement

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in any discipline; B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred
• 10-15 years of educational experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles in CBSE schools
• Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, compliance, and audit procedures
• Proven track record in school startup, transformation, or development initiatives
