Freelance Tour Guide – Caen

No certification is required—if you’re proud of your city and love connecting with people, this is the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do

• Lead private walking tours showcasing Caen’s history, culture, and landmarks
• Share personal insights, stories, and tips to create memorable experiences
• Customize tours according to guests’ interests and pace
• Provide excellent customer service and answer visitor questions confidently
• Optionally host food-focused experiences if passionate about local gastronomy

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of Caen’s landmarks, history, and culture
• Fluent in at least one of the following: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, or Portuguese
• Comfortable guiding tours lasting 3–8 hours
• Friendly, confident, and engaging communicator
• Previous tourism, guiding, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
• Passion for local food is an advantage
