Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team here at Montana's BBQ and Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations and customer service, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience. As the Front of House Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front of house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor new employees on hospitality standards, customer service protocols, and operational procedures.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to optimize guest flow.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments through the POS system.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct interviews for new hires and assist in the recruitment process for front of house positions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant management role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Familiarity with food industry operations, including food preparation and kitchen processes.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Experience in interviewing candidates is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
