Job Overview

We are a family run, small business opening our first storefront location in the Northshore/Pellisippi Pkwy area. In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, takes orders, and ensures every guest feels valued and cared for. Customer service is the main task in this role. Our guests will not just be a transaction to us; we want them to feel important no matter how big or small their order is.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently and professionally
• Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any concerns with a positive attitude to enhance customer satisfaction
• Maintain high standards of sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and guests
• Follow food safety management protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation as needed to support kitchen operations
• Ensure all food safety practices are adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and temperature controls
• Keep the dining area tidy, organized, and welcoming by regularly cleaning tables, chairs, and service stations

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is ideal but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems helps streamline order processing but training will be provided if needed
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management is advantageous for maintaining high standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to follow all health regulations and safety guidelines diligently

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
