Full Time Bakery Manager - New World Victoria Park

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Bakery Manager to join our team. Sunday - Thursday (45 hours per week, hours to be discussed)

The Role:

• Enhance the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging best-practice customer service.
• Effectively resolve all customer-related enquiries and complaints.
• Minimise customer complaints received and reinforce the store's returns policy.
• Ensure sales and gross profit (GP) targets for the department are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlled appropriately.
• Monitor sales and create opportunities to increase on last year's figures.
• Maintain 100% price integrity in the department.
• Ensure Foodstuffs' New World promotional and pricing programmes are implemented to maintain a competitive and brand-consistent offer.
• Ensure all machinery in the department is maintained regularly.
• Control ordering for the department, ensuring optimal stock levels and stock turn.
• Ensure all stock is sourced through approved suppliers, placed on time, and checked upon arrival for quality.
• Manage credits in a timely and tidy fashion to minimise waste and reduce loss.
• Ensure the shop is full and appealing throughout trading hours.
• Maintain appropriate signage and merchandising to drive sales.
• Undertake baking tasks as required.
