Sullivan's Taproom is a Independent Brewery Taproom offering craft beers, cocktails, wines and top class pizza. We are popular with locals and tourists alike and partner with tour groups regularly to add insight to our Brewery which was established in 1702 right here in Kilkenny.

We also host a few really cool events here such as Kilkenny Beer Festival & Oktoberfest along with taking part in Visit Kilkenny programmes like Savour & Tradfest. Private events and functions happen on the regular as well as being popular for live sport & music.

With all of that we are looking to hire a new member to our team with the following responsibilities:

• Make pizza & grill items according to our menu
• Monitor food stock, maintain supplies and place orders as and when required.
• Prepare and cook toppings and other menu items to ensure adequet stock levels
• Prepare stock for the week through forecasts
• Suggest recipes to renew our menu and draw in more clients.
• Check and put away deliveries as and when required.
• Clean and sterilise kitchen equipment and tools before utilising and maintain a cooking station neat and clean.
• Ensure HCCAP is carried out daily

Requirements

• Experience prefered, however full training will be provided with a willingness to learn
• Familiar with all professional kitchen equipment
• Outstanding understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.
• Working experience in preparing ingredients for fast food quickly.
• Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexible to work in shifts including weekends and late evenings.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quick decision-making skills.
• Good time management skills.
• A keen eye for details.

FIRST ORDERS 12PM // LAST ORDERS 9PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €15.00 per hour
