Due to further expansion, we at EZ Living Interiors are currently looking to hire a full-time Furniture Service Operative to join our team, based from our distribution centre in Little Island Cork.
This role will see the successful candidate going out on a van with one of our experienced service technicians to customers homes, delivering, completing assemblies, and assisting with furniture repairs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend call-out appointments to customers homes with the Furniture Service Technician.
- Assist with assembling bedframes, bunk beds, sliding wardrobes and other items in customers’ homes.
- Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Monitor and manage the receipt of all required and relevant paperwork, on a daily basis
- Maintain systems, processes and develop where appropriate
- Communicate effectively and professionally with relevant departments and harness good working relations.
- Provide professional & courteous customer service.
Preferred Skills:
- Should be highly motivated.
- Have an interest in furniture restoration.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Proven 2 years’ experience in a similar background an advantage.
- Furniture Experience is highly desirable.

Licence/Certification:
- Full Clean Drivers Licence (preferred)
