We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards across gardens and grounds, ensuring outdoor areas are kept tidy, healthy, and well-presented. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Head Gardener.
Key Responsibilities
Formal Lawn maintenance, strimming, and hedge trimming
Implementation of seasonal planting plans
Care and maintenance of wildlife friendly areas
Weeding, planting, and general garden maintenance
Seasonal pruning and upkeep of plants and shrubs
Watering, feeding, and monitoring plant health
Use and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment
Keeping all outdoor areas clean, safe, and presentable
Requirements
Relevant Horticultural qualification or extensive garden maintenance experience essential
Excellent time keeping and workload management
Ability to operate garden machinery (mowers, strimmers, polesaws etc.)
Good knowledge of plants and gardening techniques (desirable)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full driving licence
