Beldare Homes Ltd are looking for an experienced Handyman to carry out general construction on a range of projects.
Experience in several different areas will be looked at favourably such as carpentry, metalwork, glazing/locks/door repairs, minor plumbing, painting jobs, minor plaster repairs, & general handyman duties.
Key Skills and Responsibilities to include:
- Complete minor repairs to properties, maintenance and handyman repairs on domestic and commercial properties when required.
- Carry out and manage minor works packages.
- Repairs and replacement of doors, windows and glass.
- Schedule works efficiently.
- Able to communicate at all levels both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Compile task and material lists.
- Work as part of team as required for bigger jobs when they arise.
- Always maintain a high standard of health & safety, ensuring correct PPE is being used.
Candidates are required to have:-
- In-date safe pass
- Manual handling
- Tools
- Own vehicle
- Must be able to speak English
Suitable candidates must have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They should also have strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with contractors, vendors, and property managers.
Salary: €40,000 + DOE
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm
- Overtime available
- Strong Pipeline of work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- County Sligo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
