Hi Rd Fixers Limited is plasterboard/ Gib fixing company. Hi we have a job vacancy for general labourer with 2 years of experience in construction work, residential and commercial. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable and eager to learn. As a general labourer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our skilled fixers during plasterboard installation projects, loading/moving heavy sheets, screwing them to the walls and ceilings. We are looking for candidates who are ready to roll up their sleeves and grow alongside our experienced team. Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Assist fixers in the installation of plasterboard sheets on walls, ceilings and partitions. Can able to read plans for bracing requirement. Prepare materials, put glue on walls and screw the sheets with screw gun and organize tools for efficient work. Maintain a clean and organized work area by tidying up and putting offcuts and waste materials In the skip. Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate alignment and leveling of plasterboard sheets. Learn from experienced fixers and actively contribute to the project's success.

Important:

Note sheets can be heavy and it’s a fast paced repetitive work, so it’s a physically demanding job.

To meet the deadline of a project more often applicants must be available for long hours, weekend work and for public holidays. All applicants must be physically fit, have and pass drug test. All aplicants must have NZ/AUS citizenship or valid work visa.

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
