General Machinist With Manual Lathe Skills

We are looking for a General Machinist to join our team.

Shift: 7am-4pm

Paid Lunch

Responsibilities

• Read/interpret drawings/part specifications and verify
• Operate manual Lathes and Splining Machine
• Identify and prepare all tooling, work holding, and measuring instruments
• Make necessary offset changes to be within allowable tolerances
• Monitor and change inserts
• Verify conformance of part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and verniers
• Fill out inspection reports as required
• Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly
• Maintain machine coolant
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workplace

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in a conventional machining environment
• 3 years experience operating manual lathes
• Able to operate CNC lathes and mills
• Proficiency using all necessary measuring equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00-$37.00 per hour
