RESPONSIBILITIES

The General Maintenance/Handyman performs routine maintenance and repairs for designated communities. This team member must be familiar with skills of various maintenance trades.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Provide routine maintenance and repairs for designated properties.

· Willing to be trained and learn basic handyman skills.

· Property painting experience.

· Basic plumbing, replace lighting fixtures, and clean pool filters where applicable.

· Complete resident requested repairs and service in a professional & timely manner.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with community team members and provide outstanding customer service.

· Must be able to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school education or equivalent.

· One or more years of related experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to climb stairs while pulling a dolly.
• Ability to travel up and down a ladder.
• May be required to lift 85 lbs.
• Must be able to operate necessary small machinery (i.e. mower, weed-wacker, etc.).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
